Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

First one yes for sure. Second one - Not really familiar with the colouring, so I'll let someone else guess on it.
Thanks aoxa that's what I'm thinking too. As for the 2nd image. I have no clue what the chick is either!

We bought 15 chicks this spring from TSC and this is two of them. I know they all came from Ideal hatchery.

Thanks for posting the images! Cute birds! I can't wait till mine get bigger. The bantams seem to grow much slower then my red stars and orpingtons have. The red stars and orpingtons are like 10 times bigger!

About the white w/red. Two years ago I ordered some chicks from Ideal, including 2 EE pullets and 1 EE male. I assumed the white chick was supposed to be the male. Well, he turned out to be a she! I wish I'd gotten a picture of her. She was white with red patterning on her wing and tail feathers. I thought for the longest time she was going to start crowing but instead she started laying. I hatched out one of her eggs which was a good thing because I lost her to a raccoon on Halloween last year. That chick was fathered by a Rhode Island Red, so she's mostly red but has some white lacing on her back and a few white wing feathers. She's got a single comb and lays light brown eggs. I have her in with my EEs and plan to hatch some of her eggs to see what I get. There's a Buff Ameraucana cock in the pen and a Blue w/gold leakage (that's the color, as I was informed on the What Color is my Chicken? thread) EE cockerel. Should be interesting. I'm eager to see if I can get some more reddish or gold colored EE chicks if the Buff is successful in his courting of her. If I do, I will be sure to take lots of pictures so I can see how the red plays out between the genders.

One of my whites has a bit of off red brown coming though on the chest, is that a bad thing? I hope there all females, a few weeks ago I was told there prob mostly males. So I go and get four more and now ill have to many.

Do you think Aubrey is a boy??? She/he is getting so much white and I just noticed a little brownish red on her head feathers but none on her shoulders yet. I don't see 3 rows on her/his comb,
She/he is almost 5 weeks old She is really taking a long time to feather out..
