Yeah I figured it might be a bit too soon, but this is around when I'm typically able to tell. The Maran/EEs don't usually have any pink in their combs, they just blush in front of the camera . Here's another pic of the group.
The closest ee/silkie on the right I think is a boy. I can just see some color showing on the shoulders, plus he attacked me the other day when I picked up one of his sisters. The one in the middle with the bright head I'm 80% is a girl.
Thoughts? I think only the second one is a boy, since he has a splotchy pattern, and some red on the wings. The last maran/ee has more pink in his/her comb that the other, so maybe that one too?
With that being the only indication that he may be male, I can only advise posting back in a couple weeks or looking out for shiny pointed saddle feathers growing over the next month.
