I have a 6 month old Easter egger who's been laying for a few weeks now. Lately I've been getting soft shells from her but thought it was normal since she just started laying. This morning I found a wet spot on the roost and my husband said when she squares down for pets clear liquid squirted out. She acting normal and when I looked I could see some dried liquid on her feathers under her vent.
What do you think is happening and what can I do to help her. Thanks
