Easter Egger with laying problems

I have a 28 week old Easter Egger that has been laying for about 8 weeks.
In those 8 weeks she has layed 4 or 5 rubber eggs, one double yolk egg, and can go 3 or 4 days without laying at all. During these no lay periods she doesn't look good!! She has watery poop, drinks a lot, and lays down on her side much of the day.
My question is.. Is this normal. My Rhode Island Red & Black Australorp seem to be doing fine. They lay every or every other day like clockwork. Never a problem.
Thanks for any advice ~ I'm new to raising chickens and appreciate any info.

While a new layer may put out some rubber, double yolked, and other egg anomalies until they get their systems "warmed up", the rest of your description is definitely not normal and I recommend posting this in the Emergencies/Diseases section of the forum to get the best responses. https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures

Thank you RedDrgn, I ended up taking her to an avian vet, and she was diagnosed with peritonosis. After 24 hours on antibiotics she is doing much better!
She is a favorite with the family and I would have hated to lose her!!
