Easter egger x light Brahma

This chick is only 6-8 weeks. I’m not 100% sure. I never wrote down the hatch date since so much went wrong with the hatch. I also know it’s way too early to actually tell if it’s a boy or not. However the comb development is a lot for a chick so young to not be a boy.

Are those three straight rows a dead indicator of a boy? Even this early on?

Cockerel. The size and bright red color of the comb are the giveaways.

Dang it. I just knew it. He’s such a sweetie too. He has a brother that has a comb just as bright and red. Both little cuties and love bugs. Thank you all for confirming!
