egg. Cuz I have a few Easter egger with eggs.

By sitting, do you mean broody (trying to hatch)? If so yes. I have a couple who brood. Unexpectedly and never predictable.

Easter eggers are mutts and the only thing they are really bred for specifically is laying colored eggs. They can have any type of personality, laying ability, etc... It varies greatly. Sometimes the EE sold in hatcheries are directly crossed with some other breed and you end up with the occasional one that doesn't even lay colored eggs. The only way you might get a useful answer on whether your particular EE might go broody is to ask people who have bought from the same source so they have similarbreeding.

Thank you to you all. This is my first time having EE chicken. I don't know to much about them.. I wanted to rise some and don't know if I need it to buy a incubator or would the EE hen sit on them and hatch them out her self.

What breed rooster do you have?

I have three pairs of EE and 4 hen and one rooster that is red sexleaks. All in there own pins also have some blue chicken all hens in a pin by there self. Not to sure what breed they are yet.. still looking the blue chicken up..

You must give the mama hen a hiding place to hatch her eggs. she's gonna need privacy!
