When she does lay - I shall update the post! Im am pretty sure she’s part Sussex as she kind of looks similar to our Sussex.

Here she is again with her sister (white hen)

She’s very pretty, though with that comb, I doubt she is a first generation cross with Araucana. It is very likely she doesn’t have the blue egg gene, which is heavily linked with the pea comb gene.
I can’t really determine the coloring from that angle but it looks like it has both lavender and silver.
It resembles transverse pencilling. Can I see another picture?
@Amer its night time I have these but I can take more tomorrow. I read about the pea comb gene being linked to blue eggs.

I had a feeling she is a bit more of a mix!
I'd never heard that before. I have EE hens with single combs that lay perfect blue eggs.

@ThePhoebeFive I hope they will lay coloured eggs - but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter. I actually do have olive eggers and an araucana as well anyway :). I’m hoping they lay soon we just got past the winter equinox so the days are getting longer.
