I'm planning on giving this guy here away but I frankly have no clue what to label him as. His father is the bottom image and was sold to me long ago as an Ameraucana (?). The mom is an American Gamefowl. Does this make him an Easter Egger?

If I understand correctly Easter Egger is a slang term with no precise meaning, or rather it has several potential meanings

For the sane population EE means a bird that lays colored eggs. But it can also mean that a bird has Legbar, Ameraucana, or Araucana lineage

I bought an Easter Egger pullet about a month ago. I have no idea if it's simply a backyard Ameraucana mix or if it's from the same small inbred pool of Easter Eggers specially developed over the past 30 years at a hatchery

I asked the lady what kind of EE it is and she had absolutely no clue what I was talking about. Her eyes bugged out and she said "uh... it's an Easter Egger"
