Sorry I keep spamming this thread but Lotus keeps laying different colored eggs!
Green, blue, green, blue... in the order of which she laid them!

You sure that you don't have a second hen that is laying the opposite days than Lotus?
The only other explanation I would have is that she is trying to regulate her coloring factor, but the has not ever happened to me with any of my EE's.

We only have one Easter Egger! My other chickens are: 4 Red Sex Links, anAustralorp, and a Barred Rock. I watched her lay two of them!

The first girl is my Blue-Red Ameracauna and she is not laying yet but will start soon. The second girl is my Columbian Wyandotte and she lays pink tinted eggs :)
The third girl is my black EE and she lays khaki green eggs. 4th pic is her egg and the Wyandotte's egg. This isn't a very green egg but they are there.

So, that super blue egg I posted above (last one on the right) turned a green right in front of my eyes when I took it out of the fridge to take a picture.
Fourth one from the right. (they're more green and less blue in real life) I assume the same will happen to the newest one (far right)

It's like Lotus is like "Oh... you wanted blue eggs? Here. Have some blue ones that turn green in front of your eyes."
Makes me kind of sad.

Anyway, checked her earlobes today. They're completely white!

I have an Easter Egger, I posted the pic of her on another thread,(on the right) and someone estimated she's about 15 weeks old.
Will an EE lay at 20 weeks like my others do, or will I have to wait a lot longer, since the light is slowly fading? Any EE tips? :)
