Easter Eggers at 36 weeks and still no eggs?!

We tried to watch and figure out who was laying and what their egg looked like. We are sure 6 of the hens are laying and what their eggs look like. We are not sure what our blue laced red wyandotte's egg look like but often find her feathers in the next box.
We have never seen the 2 EE's in the next box, and assume their eggs would be smaller and colored... It's more of a process of elimination...or so we thought.
We get mostly 5, sometimes 6 eggs every day. Rarely 4 never 7 or more.

Pea comb in EEs throws a 95% chance of either blue or green eggs.
That would be some serious bad luck!
Aggh! SERIOUS bad luck...for them

Exactly my thoughts!

These girls are highly affected by light. Where a barred rock would lay with 8 hours, an EE won't. At least mine won't. They are also molting in their first year as well!

But it's nice to see them have such pristine white feathers again. They were so dirty!
I will definitely put supplemental light in their coop. I would love to know if these EE are laying brown eggs or what!!

We free range as much as possible. However, there are hawks in the woods behind us, so I can't let them out all the time. Now that winter has hit, probably 2-3 hours a few times a week. In the summer when we were outdoors more often they were out all the time.
Free ranging wouldn't have any effect on the color of the shells, would it?
We free range 24/7 and my eggs are a brilliant shade of blue.

Here is a close-up of Tiger's comb...Pea comb?

...and Charlie's comb (or lack of).
Both of these girls are now hitting 37 weeks.

The first one looks more developed then the second.

My EEs are 40 weeks old. They quit laying for the winter 5-6 weeks ago. If I supplemented with light, they probably would have continued laying. Though I'm not sure on that. EEs are not reliable layers out of season. Mine started laying early, but out of four girls - I never had 4 eggs in one day. Once I had three. Usually 2. Sometimes 1.

Well, this is the collection I got at exactly 38 weeks! Tiger laid her first egg! Do you know how excited we all were?
And we don't even care that in 14 days we have only received 5 blue eggs, because dammit, we got eggs!!

Congratulations Tiger!
Now how do I get Charlie to lay her blue eggs??

This gives me so much hope. my EE is 37weeks 5days right now and still no egg. She has a pea comb so I am REALLY hoping for a blue or green egg. This is her pic was taken back 12/17/12

I have a RIR who hatched in late June who STILL hasn't laid an egg, even tho her comb is bright red and her bum has "spread"...but then again, I don't supplement light, so that's probably why...
