Do you add just a touch of sugar to tame the sourness down a tad? Not a lot just a little.

I like the sour too just makes it taste richer! She really barely adds enough to notice.

I'll try it sometime. But I don't make my own sauerkraut. I've tried and I never want to smell spoiled Cabbage again. Lol. I buy Bubbie's. Its really good but not as good as home made.

8 years off not too bad! My wife and I both look about that much younger too... At least that`s what our kids and grandkids say! Could be a somewhat jaded observation though lol!
