Easter eggers growth from chicks to adults

I would say the rooster tail should be getting longer by now. Also aren't easter eggers a mix of americana and araucana? If so maybe you have a hen that won't get much tail, hopefully. What does her comb look like

The silver one has a very small, pale comb. The orange one is much larger than the others and has a large, orange comb. You can enlarge my pics by clicking on them to get a better view.

These birds are so different. From my red sex links I raised last year. They look nothing alike and are so skiddish!

I think she will remain a hen. Mine are some what skittish, they run from me but if I have a bug they come running to me. This is my first year with chickens I'm hoping to add Sussex, Orpington, and Faverolle. Do your red sex links lay through winter?

Yes, my 6 red sex links gave me an average of about 5 eggs per day.

I'm convinced Blondie is a cockerel, he also bites so may not keep him for breeding.

i agree i think blondie is a roo based upon the three rows of peas coming on its comb also it has some rusty colors on its wings. you really have some pretty birds there good luck hope only the one is a roo.

Yeah I was very disappointed, I loved his colors. I'm also worried about no name, nugget and melody they have wide combs that are very pinkish red, micro raptor may be my only hen lol. They all have different hatch days with Blondie looks to be the first and micro raptor being the last. No name is my friendliest so I will keep him/her no matter what.

Phew! The kids would be devastated if we had to rehome them, and we have a no rooster ordinance in our city. They barely have any tail at all!
