Easter Eggers or Ameraucanas?

My boyfriend brought me home 6 baby chicks from tractor supply about 2 weeks ago. Tractor Supply said they were Ameraucanas, but I think they may be Easter Eggers. Can anyone tell me which they are? Also is there a way that I can distinguish rooster from hen yet without doing the vent check (I have never felt comfortable trying that. Im afraid of injuring them.), maybe through coloration or feather pattern? They are supposed to be all hens, but we all know how that is not always so

Most likely, they are EEs, which are Ameraucana mixes.

You can't really tell EEs from Ameraucanas when they are young, usually. It would be best to wait tell they get older and you can see a manifest color/variety.

Are you dragging the pictures into the post box? They don't show up if you do. Try hitting the picture icon and then clicking "Upload Files"
