So I picked up these chicks yesterday. They are approx 5 weeks old.
The were listed as easter Eggers that are definately part polish. One has no bum at all which makes me wonder if they are part araucanas as well.
Curious about sexing by their combs,
Anyone wager a guess?

OMG, those are cute! Easter Eggers are simply a cross of any blue egg layer and any other breed. That means they can have Arucana, Amerucana or Cream Legbar as the blue egg side. Most commonly, as I understand it, Amerucanas are used. Also, as I understand it, Amerucanas were developed from Arucanas, so it is most likely to have that breed somewhere in the background. I don't know how the rumpless gene is passed, so hopefully someone can clarify that.

They are quite unusual looking little things. I suspect they will have the fluffy polish heads lol
It will be extra funny on the one with no bum
