I have 3 Easter Eggers that will be two months the 15th of August.

I'm pretty sure the first one (Peaches) is a Roo, and the last two are hens (Velvet and Sweet tea). Any guesses for me? Forgive the quality of the pictures. They are out in a temporary run while we make something better for them. I can get better pictures if needed.

This is Peaches (maybe to become Pete

Thanks so much!

These (and 6 others) are the first chickens I've ever had. Chickens are the best kept secret for wonderful pets! I am having so much fun with them.

That would be great news!

I really wanted all hens (and bought sexed chickens to help in that area).

All of my chickens love to sit in my lap and come when called except Peaches. I thought maybe her lack of friendliness might be because he didn't appreciate being called a she! She's also the most flighty and likes to chase the other chickens.

Yep, I agree, all girls!

I have one EE roo who loves me, the other 3 could care less...they'll tolerate handling, but don't hop in my lap like the one! I have hens that like us, and others that run if we even look at them like we are going to pick them up - I think it has alot to do with personalities!

Awww... Peaches will get to keep her name, and stay.

Thank you very much for the replies and the reassurance.

I am guessing your are all girls. Here's a pic of my 7 week old EE roo. He is also bigger than the girls.
