Easter Eggers

I just ordered some Easter Eggers and I have never had them before. is there anything that I need to know?

I don't what to mess up my chickens.

They should fi tin with your other chicks just fine of that is what you mean...

I have a few EEs. They don't need anything that other chickens don't.

I've just noticed that mine are very social, so perhaps a nice arm to perch on would be good for them.

Is it possible for an EE to alternate between white and light greenish/blue every other day? My only other girl that's currently laying lays light brown eggs. And I definitely keep getting white then light blue/green.

I'll let you know Ina few months when mine start laying. I haven't actually gotten them yet. They're preordered and should be in at the end of April. I'm really looking forward to these little girls. My first chicks were last year...6 red sex links. They're great layers. I really looking forward to some color diversity in my egg cartons!

I haven't had any experience with mine doing that. That's interesting.

She also seems to lay sooner than every 25 hours sometimes. She's relatively new at laying so maybe shes just getting the hang of it. Their diet varies too a little. Always layer crumbles but some days more free range, other days more let overs
