Hi
I am new to this group . I live in Amargosa Valley , NV which is 100 miles North of Las Vegas
I would like to know if there are any people that I could go to for my Easter Eggers . I have six RIR's
and I just got five Ameraucona's . I have been told that if you want to get an olive egg you need to breed the
Ameraucona,s with a certain type of rooster. Could someone please explain this to me .
Thank You

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Check out the BST forum https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/67/buy-sell-trade this time of year many feed stores have chicks available, Easter Eggers are pretty popular and you may be able to find one that has them, you might want to see if anyone on your state thread knows of any available https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/253930/nevadans/0_20
An olive egger is a green/blue egg layer crossed with a dark brown egg layer like a Marans or Welsummer etc (green comes from the brown coating over the blue egg shell, the darker the brown the darker the green will be).
