Easter eggs contest

How about the prettiest basket of Easter eggs. I just read a great article about dyeing brown eggs, and the rich colors that can emerge.
I was also wondering about adding some more color to natural blue or green eggs. It would be fun to see what everyone could come up with by Easter Sunday.

Would you happen to have a link regarding dying the brown eggs? That sounds like a cool article!

I often have thought how pretty my home grown eggs are. I have pretty minty-green eggs, olive green eggs, pinkish eggs, tinted eggs, various shades of brown eggs, and some really pretty speckled eggs. I almost hate to color them for Easter, but that's what my nieces and nephews are going to get! Easter is very special for those of us that cherish our eggs, and love sharing them with our loved ones! I remember the shrink-wrap things to put around eggs, but I couldn't find them anywhere last year.

This is a wonderful idea for a contest! I'll post pics later this week when my kids and I get to dying them!

Ok heres mine. They started out brown, blue and light olive eggs.

I read the article too. Have always been told you can only dye WHITE eggs. We are dying eggs on Saturday and cannot wait to see what my NATURAL Easter basket looks like dyed!
