I had trouble posting on here then I discovered I had to do it in the mobile mode.

OMG! YOu mean I finally got a serama to hatch???!!! I can't tell you how many I set that were shipped and didn't hatch. I also had a silkie hatch ! I put my bantam chicks separate so the big ones don't stomp them.Thank you for the eggs!

Well, none of my swap eggs hatched

which makes me very sad.. I was really eager to see what they were... tazcat, I had a lot of late deaths, too... all my eggs for the easter hatch were shipped, and I only go 2 little GNH's to hatch, I'm glad I at least go them!! Congrats on all you with cute chickies!!!

Sorry you had a bad hatch. I usually don't get much to hatch with shipped eggs, but I keep trying. I hatched in my Brinsea this time. Maybe that helped.

Shipped eggs get scrambled by the time they get me. One of the eggs I got was so scrambled the yolk inside was scrambled. Nothing was gonna grow in that one. I had 2 that quite about mid hatch. And they were packed good too. I am thinking of doing an experament shipping them cold. Maybe the yolk won't move so much. Because have noticed that the yolk is thicker when its cold then when its room temperture. But it probably would not make mich of difference.
