Eastern Iowa Poultry Show/Call Duck National - Wanted/Bringing

this is the first time the call ducks nationals have been held in Iowas so this will be our first time, but there should be plenty of vendors and sale birds. We will turn around if we hit a big snow storm.....just not worth it.

Mrs. Turbo :

We are bringing call ducks for sale and should also have some for sale out of the show pens. Not sure what we are bringing yet....we are also going to put some of our BLRWs in the show......should be a great time. Hope all the Wyandottes will fit in the minivan.

Will you have any of your BLRWs or SLWs available for sale at the show?

I am not sure what DH is bringing to sale.

ETA: We don't have much room left to haul anymore birds so we are only bringing wyandottes if they are paid for ahead of time. All we have right now are 1- 3 month olds for sale......BLRW, blue wyandottes and the black wyandottes. We don't have anymore pairs of SLWs for sale, but we do have some extra young roos.

Thought I'd give this a "bump" hoping for some more responses, now that Ohio is over...

The website is easterniowapoultryshow.com The dates are November 28 and 29 in Iowa City. I'm looking forward to going on Saturday, not to show but to look!

Do people bring fertile eggs to sell at these things too?

I just got word that there is 687 call ducks entered in the show...this would be a record...wow.

Stuff I am bringing for sale: Extra white call drakes...most will be SQ, maybe a few white hens, 2 pair BQ snowy call ducks, One slf-black drake that is SQ, BLRW, SLW, Blue wyandottes, a few LF Black Wyandottes, and some breeder quality Butterscotch.

WOW...will that be just an American record, or are we talking world record here?

getting ready for the show and loading the show boxes tonight. Good thing we had Thanksgiving on Sunday this year. We are going to sneak out to Cracker Barrel for a bite of turkey for dinner tonight.
