Eastern Panhandle WV (MD, VA, PA) Chickenstock -July10th Gower's Feed

My orp hatch is done! I have 9 chicks. Looks like I have for sure 1 lav pullet and about 2 or 3 more that are lav. All but 3 I think look like they have lav in them. around 3 of them look black with very little color. What do you think Tammy? One blk looks to be a roo has bigger comb all ready. On my BLRW pullet chicks I got blues and splash no blacks !

I have a few flowers in 4in pots and I'll have some started tomato's that are in 4 in pots and 8 in pots. I'll bring some jams if there is any left. I need to pick the cherries and make some jam. I just seem to get lazy after working all day. Msbear how much are your signs with farm names on them and maybe small pics? like hawks flying some where on it -in or around the farm name?

My signs range from $75- $150 + depending on how big/amount of detail, etc. I am pretty backed up right now so, won't be able to have one ready for chickenstock... Idon't think. Right now Im doing "eggs for sale" signs for $50 with no pictures and Im doing a large farm sign (24" x 36") with two hens, dogwood blooms and a sun in the background for $175.. just to give you an idea .. so a farm name with a couple hawks (maybe one larger one and a few flying (soaring) in the background would run around $75-100.

I will be bringing some items that make raising and/or showing chickens more enjoyable. My latest item is the "TWIN TOTE". It is a time saver, in that it lets you collect eggs and top off your feeder in just one trip. Shown with optional Oak handle with ergonomic, laminated grip. All wood construction.

There is plenty of room inside for more items, you decide. Other items, including chicken transporters, will be on display July 10th

Ok I'll talk it over with my family and if all agree I'll place a oder with you and I could pick it up at the fall sale or meet you at trs one day. Do you pay up front or at pick up? I don't want a real big one just a med to med/lg size one would be fine. The farm name and acouple of hawks soaring would be great. Does not need to much else unless you put some sky painted in the background. If you think it would look better. Simple & sweet nothing real fancy. Well let me know and I'll talk to everyone and let you know by the sale for sure. Thanks!

Waving! Me! I do!!... well, I have one OUTSTANDING black silkie hen. Would love to see her shown our used productively. I need to sell off my silkies and make room for incoming breeds. I loved the silkies, but am moving on...

My signature has the adults listed. I keep meaning to take photos of them and list them all on here or eggbid but now eggbid is gone.

So If I have room, I'll pack them all up and bring them to WV.

Someone asked "Jonathon will not be happy to see me next time. How is his girlfriend doing?" They came and tested my flock on 6/10 and she is doing fine. They had gotten married on Sunday 6/8 and had been married only 2 days. So Congratulations are in order!

I am planning to make it this time. My hens have been sitting like crazy and I must have about 30 bantam chicks under 3 mos old. My DH says the chickens, especially the roosters must go. So I'll try to bring:
bantam Dark Cornish (3 hens & 1 roo)
Black Japanese Bantams
Lavender d'Uccles
A brassy back blue Old English Game roo and a blue OEG hen.
A pair of blue bantam Cochin
some crossed chicks and some Japanese, d'Uccle, and Silky chicks.
Maybe a black/blue Silky roo for a pet.

I am thinking about getting some India Blue peachicks if there will be any there. And maybe a guinea or two. Maybe SQ silkies.

I'll be printing the flyers too

Oh Carol, that is just the best news about Jonathan and Tiffany. I have been praying for them. She/they have really been through it this spring.

Reminds us to count our blessings.

Cannot wait to meet you.
