No, Bostons most of the time require c-sections so i would only allow 1 litter. She'll be spayed when they are delivered. The dog can barely walk while his back heals..but apparently his "thruster" still works wonderfully >as my hubby put it<

Obviously the "thruster" is the last to go, ha

Its a 91 and runs but needs a new head I think. Something to do with sparkplugs. Car repair is not my area that is my hubbies area. We are selling it for a couple hundred. Hubby drove it too and from work these past few years we are second owners on it.

If it's a new head then ugggggg not worth it, should just take it to the place on 81 that will pay you for the scrap. Something to do with spark plugs? I can handle that. Is it the 4 cylander or the 6? Will it still run at all? I am seriously looking for a beater to go in and out of town and to take the kids to and from school. As it is now, 20 bucks only gets me back and forth to the school maybe 3 days.

Thats what I told hubby take it to scrap yard. He drove it home but it has high miles and no ac. Ac is fix but still its needs a new head for sparlplugs are stripped. I have a truck that need to go there too so we will have them pick both up.

If the cylanders are stripped for the plugs, they can be rethreaded. But i think you can get 2 or 300 per car right now scrap

Partridge is a color of the Plymouth Rocks. There are seven colors reconized for large breed, white, barred, partridge, sliver penciled, buff, columbian and blue. I am just working on the Partridge color of rocks. Since I free range that is all I will have for now.

Ok, question to BYC. As I have posted, there is now a group, C.O.O.P. group, in JC n we r wrking on getting chick laws changed. Most all chicken laws that r changed to allow chickens in residental backyards, allow hens only, and never Roos. So what then happens, when someone orders a straight run, and ends up with roos? I can only think of finding a farm (or several) that will agree to accept these roos so that person can stay legal. Does anyone out there have any suggestions of a person or farms that would do this. Thank you

My neighbor's friend took my evil roo. I'm pretty sure he ended up in a stew pot, but I consciously did not ask the question. I'm a lot more open to the idea of chickens being food, now, though.

On a happier note, Bob, my OEGB pullet hatched out four chicks. I tried to take pictures without incurring her wrath, but was only able to get one in the picture. She is an awesome mom. It's hard to believe she's just six months old. These are mutts. They're Silver Duckwing OEGB and Buff Brahma bantam. They have feathered feet. It'll be interesting to see how they feather out.

Tnchickenut has two pair for sale and I am really thinking about getting them when I get my last pair of cochin sold, hopefully this weekend. If anyone else is interested, though... I highly recommend the breed. Bob was the sweetest chicken I ever owned, until she went broody and then she turned into a velociraptor.

I am in Elizabethton and will gladly take in any roos that people have, if you can accept the fact that they have a pretty good chance of being eaten. I try to place as many roos as I can with people through Craigslist, and most of my roos find homes, but I do eat what I can't home!

Nope, there's standard sized, too. They are all great broodies, though... from what I hear.

Here's the standard on My Pet Chicken. Their description says they are aggressive and don't like confinement. That's not been my experience at all with the bantam. Of course, I only have the one. Tnchickenut could tell you if it's the same with all of them. I know that when my cousins little kids would come over they all cornered Bob and snuggled her and she not only tolerated it, she would purr. Before she went broody she would follow me around the run and jump up on my shoulder. She's as close to being a loving chicken as I've seen with the exception of my orps.
