Did you see the ad? Part bengal

Cat people are probably going to laugh at me here, but part bengal? As in tiger? A real one, like, from the jungle?

Not as in tiger, more as in a wild cat in Asia... but normal pet owners of bengals will only have the fourth generation of such breedings (they have a calm disposition and the wild look) making them a very sought after cat, which means people on CL are likely to say they have one and try to charge for it... but the posting for the barn cat said it's a mix of a mother bengal and some unknown father, may not have any bengal but the posting says that it likes to attack her sons feet etc. I like the bengal look and wish I could get one... but they can be hard to find. I'd look into it but I have a mouser, and a darn good one at that and she HATES any other cat.. so I'm stuck with one feline... I love cats though

Ahhhhh...

So it was flagged cause it's a mutt? I still only see the flagged page.

They probably got flagged because they're posting in Farm and Garden, without saying how much they want or whether it's free... It's those darn CL police

they have nothing better to do with their time... I could understand if they were posting it and asking $300 or something... oh well, it was worth a shot ladyride

Also, she stated it has not had any shots, but has had flea stuff and been dewormed. Has been inside since they got it at 12 weeks.

I am not going to get it, so knock yourselves out. I wonder if it is just a rambunctious kitten in a not-so-cat-savvy family. I can't bring myself to take a kitten who has been indoor only and toss it out as a barn cat here. Too many predators at my place. I need a cat who is outdoor-savvy.

OMG!!!!!!!
You went and done it Nella...now I am going to dream about these little guys. I want another dog so much but DH is afraid of getting attached to another dog. You would never think he was such a softy if you met him. I actually did not realize myself until we lost Jake. Of course 18 years is a long time to form a relationship with a dog.
If anyone here does get one (or any large breed dog)...when it is around 10 months old take it to the vet and get the hips x-rayed to keep on file. Helps the vet out a lot if there are any problems later. GP are about the same size as Anatolians but they have more body mass..I think the two mixed is wonderful.. But they are worth it. I still kick myself for adopting out the last Anatolian I fostered.

Daphne...it is easy to train these dogs...just leave them with the livestock and don't make them into your regular "want to love on you pet". I am not saying you can't pet them...just keep it limited. It is best when starting one to put it in a pen with only 2 animals of your choice...then when it is use to that after about 10 days add a couple more. Then move onto larger quantities. This way if it is not going to work (if not a small pup) you will not have a huge loss and it is much better to work slowly into things.

These pups Nella sent are just the right age. AND SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I will if you will...
