Hey Pam. (I just moved to Tn) I'm amazed at how quick we can get to GA or Kentucky from here.

Grawg, started on my husband. He took a deep breath, but he didn't say no. We are re-doing our front porch, and then he has some kennels to build. I told him maybe in the fall, we could do a small scale waterfall with man-made pond about the size of two little pools. He kind of liked that idea. Then he (not catching on) said "but if we have a pool/waterfall, the ducks will be in it. DUH!!!! It took him a minute and then he raised his eyebrows and exclaimed "OH."

*operation "show him your photos" starts tomorrow.

In Referance above post.

I will order enough for anyone to have a quart if you can tell me now if you want it that way. If I order it all tomorrow it will take about a week to get here. I can probably find some nice quart containers that seal at Walmart and divide it that way. Probably looking at 12-15 a quart. Maybe cheaper depending on how many gallons I order at a time or if I use gallon water jugs instead of buying containers.
See guys....we all take care of each other here! I need to order Duramycin 10...it is a great antibiotic for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases (infectious synovitis, bluecomb -- mud fever), infectious sinusitis (turkeys), fowl cholera, hexamitiasis, early chick or poultry mortality, and stress.. From what I understand they are considering taking it off the market. Here is a site with reasonable pricing. 6.4 oz. for 7.19 http://www.barnyardhealth.com/dur10624ozpa.html

The TSC in Morristown is now carrying Rooster Booster products.

@Bario...Do you have any valbazen left? I am going to try and worm everyone while they are not laying much. If not....anyone want to split a bottle?

I've been on here nearly a year preaching the power of the duck side and only recently has itsthelaw (really need a nickname or something) shown any hope of converting. I always take a non answer as the answer No.

And while we are on the subject of duck superiority, I think i might prefer the taste of duck over chicken... far more complex and flavorful.

Mmm, duck.
Grawg.... I'll give you that ducks are easier and cheaper than chickens... but dang if they don't mud up EVERYTHING. lol. That said, I always keep some ducks to keep things fun around here. They are messy, but they listen better than chickens anyday. Very easily trained.

Hey Pam - Ooltewah here. Welcome. Glad you are here. Like I've commented before I kind of feel like we are right smack dap in the middle of both "eastern" & "middle" TN threads. Um, maybe we should also have a Chattanooga Area/Northwest Georgia thread group.??
Please don't make me keep up with another group! Its so hard to keep up with this one... miss a day and you are behind by 25 pages!!

LOL love it...bet he warms to the idea..gl

Terry...no on the Valbazen, Its time for me to stock up on everything as matter of fact. Its been over a year I think since I ordered anything.

Im going to order just one gallon of oxine then and so will be able to sell two or three quarts out of that. A quart last me quite a while if I dont have anyone get sick and have to fog them for a week straight.
I need to check Co-ops price again on Valbazen to see if they are competitive with the place I got it online last time. I dont think ill premix it again though more than a few hours in advance because mine tried to separate the last time and looked weird, LOL

Stang..So I'll bring a quart to the show on November 10th unless you guys get towards this way before that. I think you have my phone # if that happens.
