I am planning on going to the show. Hopefully my Polish will be completely out of his molt by then. I will probably show my white silkie roo. Considering my little lavender DU as well. Both of the roos did real well at the Newport show in May. It is a lot of fun to see all the different breeds and meet some of the breeders.
Great, maybe I will see you there. Although if I do see you I will not know I saw you lol. Just wear a sign that says "TNBarnQueen" on it and I will wear one with "dncarr09"

I didn't know people would want it... It won't even fit into my house, I just picked it up from my dads because he wanted to melt it down...
Are you kidding? You are kidding, right? Tell me you are kidding. I would have jumped all over a cage that size if I had my checks. And even still... don't melt it down.. there is a bird rescue in Knoxville area that could use it. They usually adopt out birds with their cages.

I was about to buy a conure before I got hurt... But I want a big cage for it. Still will get one, but who knows how long these legal battle will go on. Sigh!!

Yeah, online cages this size go for about $450+ I think... I just wanted to sale to get some cash to buy some stuff I've been eyeballing and didn't have the cash for. It's taller than me, and heavy duty with wheels and stuff... I can get the bowls to anyone here later, I left them at my dads (if he didn't throw them out, he thought I could use this cage for rabbits)..

I in no way mean this bad, but I wouldn't buy chicks from Ideal. I didn't buy chicks from them, but I received a Dorking rooster from someone who got it from Ideal. It had such bad type that I found a replacement roo. It was so far out of breed standard that I would never consider breeding him with my ladies. Others may have great chicks from them. I have heard mixed things. That was just my personal experience. If you want good chicks that you aren't considering breeding than it probably would be a good option. Others may have had a better experience. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
Thank you for that info I thought I was the only one who had an issue with ideal. Where would you recommend getting babies from. I didn't want to say anything bad but I have had bad experience with them. Ordered 45 featherfooted bantams the first shipment arrived 3 days late and all were dead. The replacement batch were tiney and sickly and only had white silkies. They all died within a week. I thought it was my fault until one of the little ones pooped and a long worm came out. very gross. Contacted ideal and they told me their chicks don't have worms and that I must be mistaken because chicks cant' have worms. I know what I saw moving around after the baby chick pood. I have been looking where to buy some new ones that are in better condition. so if you could recommend someone I would be glad to check them out.

Yeah, it's made for a cockatoo sized bird. I always like to go a step up in size, though. I have bettas in 10 gallons!!! lol!!

Have you tried CL or Ebay Classifieds?

Read over pages 705 and 706.... it wasn't just you.

LOL... that made me laugh... do you need chinchilla cages?! Trade for chickens. Better yet, trade for peafowl! You can make better money off them.
LOL, I don't need chinchilla cage, I wanted rabbit cages but I was going to order wire to make my own.. I doubt someone is going to have that many chickens to trade... I mean for me, I don't "value" a chicken over $10 usually... Just my personal opinion, I've never been able to sale one for more than $12 and have been known to give roosters away.. I don't have any luck when it comes to selling stuff... I still have my pond and stuff for sale.
