easy build duck pond

After much trial & error (7 much digging!) I have finaly built a small 8ft x 8ft 2ft deep swimming pond for my ducks. I used railway sleepers & stepped them in & out of the sides _=_ then lined it with pond liner. they can get in & out easily & the wood seems to keep the water warmer. It was so easy to build & they love it. I empty it onto my garden with a dirty water flood pump & refill with a garden hose 2 or 3 times a week. Happy ducks & healthy garden. NO DIGGING!

Can you post a picture? I would love to see it. I'm new to the duck world. I'm low on builder skills but big on land (3 acres) and I have been looking everywhere for ideas.

I'd like a picture too. I used a koi pond for mine last year but I've gotten more ducks since then and it's not going to be big enough!

I will Post a picture as soon as I get the lead fo my fone. It realy is easy to build. Just lay the sleepers like a pyramid of stepps so it's deep in the middle. Simple & very strong.
