Hi all, wanted to share this super easy way to make a coop window. We did a playhouse to coop conversion this summer and I tried several different types, this was by far the easiest and cheapest.
Pics attached, but basically I put trim around the window opening, and covered it with plexiglass using mirror clips (that you use to attach a mirror to your wall). I used two pieces of plexiglass so one could be completely removed, and both can slide side to side to let in air.
This is in no way predator proof, so there is hardware cloth underneath.
