Hey there I have a quick question that might be odd but need help with it, tomorrow I volunteered to go help my friend with her chickens.
She been under the weather and is a bit better, and I’m health to so I can actually go see her.
The chicken are really her sons but he’s a teen and well a guy so not into his chores, and their chicken get up high in there barn and poo, and she would like that not to happen so I was going to help her clip there wing but she has like 15 or so I think, so after we clip I was hoping to mark them so that we can easy tell them apart, for who's been clipped and who has not.
Is there something I can make like out of flour or corn starch food color or something? Something safe!!!
Any idea’s are very welcome thank you so so much

A marker? Like a sharpie, or something less permanent...
Depends on what color the chickens are, I guess.
I used to mark one of my two white leghorns with a green sharpie so I could tell them apart.

Most of her's are Ameraucana, so not sure if a marker would show so easy

When checking mine I use Blu Kote on the top of their left foot. Just a quick squirt on their toes. Wears off in a couple of days. Very easy to spot the ones you've already done.
