Eat it or Throw it Away?

Anyone can add their own question on this topic.
If the cat licks the butter, would you still eat the butter that's left? Or the cat?

The cat can have all the butter it wants (1 life down, 8 to go). The rest of the family is eating margarine.

rake it off with a knife and wrap it up. And holler at myself not to leave it out again. I don't eat butter anyway. If the cat really mangled it, out it goes.

I figure with all the licking and kissing the cat does (very affectionate cat) the germ load is pretty much there anyway.

Scrape off the top layer and eat it ... Cant be worse then them licking your face .. My old cat would give kisses on your face that always left a nice lil snot line on my cheek ... YUCK

My cats dont eat butter.

My cat Socks DID however, nibble all over one end of a loaf of pumpkin cranberry bread. I cut it off, fed that part to the dog, and us humans then ate the rest.

i would most likely give it to my other 9 cats
