Eaten Tails? HELP!

Rats. If you go into the coop at night you can figure out their entry mode. Probably in a corner or a drain. Serious problem, might require some professional assistance. They're drawn to the scent of chicken and turkey vents.

Sorry...

Get PEEPERS!!!! from eggcarton.com They work great!! They prevent the hens from seeing straight ahead, just to the side and DOWN where the food is. They are not expensive and well worth it.

I do have one disclaimer...... I had one hen figure them out and she had to be culled, mean raptor that one was.... And the hens tend to bump into things if they are free range, like trees and each other. They will run right into each other, I personally think it is kind of funny. They don't get hurt. I know I have a sick sense of humor.

Give it a try.
