Eating duck eggs

The yolks are thicker, and creamier. Which makes them better for baking.

When you use the eggs for baking, is it replacing large or extra large eggs? Sorry, I don't have ducks yet - I am in research mode. So maybe the eggs aren't much bigger than my chicken eggs?

Everyone says that they are the size of the extra large but I have gotten a few that are the same size as a large. Someone even asked me if I had chicken eggs in my incubator with my duck eggs.

I have a question about duck eggs. Ive been reading about egg allergies and duck eggs being a safe alternative. Has anyone ever experimented with it? thoughts?

I love our duck eggs! They are delicious. If you are collecting the duck eggs daily, no fetal growth will occur in the fertilized eggs.
