Eating eggs from a newly laying hen.

So 2 of my 8 hens are now laying. The eggs are still very small but the shell, color and shape are all looking good. About how long does everyone here wait until they start to eat the eggs from newly laying hens?

I don't wait; small eggs taste the same as large eggs

I don't wait either. With my main flock I can't tell if an egg is a first egg or not, and I don't care anyway. Eggs get eaten, regardless.

I don't wait. We eat all of the eggs with good shells that aren't rubbery.

Not eating a chicken first eggs is a fallacy, myth, old wives tale...whatever you want to call it....no reason at all not to eat intact first eggs.
