Baby angelina has laid some eggs, no wonder she loves to eat the chickens layer food. Well we got a freash one and decided to fry it up and try it.

Well the yoke was huge but while frying it we noticed it had a white film over the top and the white part of the egg was paper thin while frying it.

Is this normal? It didn't look very good so we fed it to my dog. I figured she eats poop so a odd egg can't hurt her.

So is this normal for geese eggs????

I have 5 white chinese. They are great layers and yes you can eat their eggs. If cooked sunny side up, it should look just as you described. The egg white is much thinner than in ducks, you'd think they'd be similar because geese and ducks are very similar. I like them sunny side up because i like the yolk but if that bothers you,you can always scramble them. And you can bake with them as well. A large goose egg equals about 2 or 3 chicken/duck eggs. It's like an omelette in one neat little package. So go ahead and give them a try!

I love the goose and turkey eggs over the others in taste and texture. A good heavy taste and also works great in baking.
