Eating infertile eggs in the incubator?

I boil them up and feed them back to the chickens as a treat. I don't think I could bring myself to eat them myself, but there are a few posters that I know of that have said that they're fine to use in baking. But if I feed them back to the chickens, then they're being put to a good use.

I thought this was going to be my fav but then I read about the dog licking pig butt and almost pee'd myself!!!

you guys are a bunch of crack ups!!!

as for eatting those eggs if you like barfing go ahead and try it... I toss mine in the sink to look at whats inside then they go in the disposal. I do save the shells for the chickens thought. I dont give those to my dogs cause if it made them sick guess who would be cleaning it up? ME. and I dont do puke.....its is a self presservation thing

Okay everyone. I did not eat them, I gave them to the dogs. The dogs are fine. I do hope my roo gets busy soon. I see him mounting, but don't ever witness a follow through. I think he is too much of a gentlemen. I really want to incubate and hatch. He is 7 months old now, is it weird that none of my eggs are fertilized?

maybe he just ain't quite old enough or maybe he is a little too eager. give him time

LOL I know some people who tried eating them and they turned out fine. just as long as the egg was infertile and nothing groing inside. you can tell if you candle the egg. if not boil it and give it to your animals. they will love you for it.
