Eating turkey eggs?

i havent ever raised them but i did eat the eggs from my friend's turkey and you wouldn't be able to taste the difrence form them and chicken eggs. They are a lot bigger though and i would guess that turkeys lay about twice a week mabey

The eggs are pretty tough to get into compared to a chicken egg, but they're fine for eating. My husband says they're richer tasting than the chicken eggs, but that could be because my turkeys free range and most of my chickens are penned.

there eggs make fantastic dip eggs, once you get through the membrane to drop them into the pan..

That's what we grew up calling them, too: dip eggs.

It seems like it might be a regional name.
Like my folks, I grew up in the San Francisco area, but none of my friend's parents called them dip eggs.
