My silkie- d'uccle cross named Ebony is my favorite hen. She is so soft and fluffy!
Not only that, but she's weird. I mean really weird. She will walk around and peck at the air. She will randomly twist her head around and peck at nothing on her back. Sometimes when you're holding her, she will try to peck you and miss by several inches. When you give her a peice of food, she'll miss.
And this is all due to the fluffy beard surrounding her eyes, and her small peanut brain.
But we just love our little girl, who should lay her first egg any day now.
