ECG turning

It's always a good idea to turn the egg as often as possible, but not turning an egg for the first few days of development should be fine. Eggs are turned to prevent the embryo from sticking to the side of the shell, making the hatching process more difficult/impossible for the chick. Since there isn't really a developed embryo for the first week, it shouldn't be too detrimental to not turn an egg at that stage.

Although, I would take this advice with a grain of salt. I've never not turned an egg, so this is purely speculation. I would only not turn the eggs at your own risk. Good luck!
