Eclectus parrot behaviour

My little bub Gracie is about 1y 8 months old. She's ripping up the paper on the floor of her cage in a particular corner and everytime I replace it she rips it up again. Is this hormonal behaviour? Or is she just being a butt like usual

She's probably nesting. My Amazon parrot does that too.

If it's just in one corner, it's probably a nesting behaviour, which should be discouraged.

I think the general advice is that she's trying to nest so I'll remove the paper and put it on the next layer. I guess this is the start of our teenage faze. Poor me!

I feel you! I have three rescue galahs, and one of them was only a juvenile when I adopted him (I'm unsure of his exact age because I have very little information on them). He was sweet then, but now he's a bit of a rebellious teenager.
