Edit: 5 1/2 week old pics(pg 2)Ameraucana? gender?

If they are itching a lot they could just be itchy chickens, but they could have lice. So I would inspect them really good. Look up picks online so you know what you are looking for.
no, no lice.. I look them up and down daily but they all seemed to get real itchy when they lost their fluff that was the only other time really.. that and Amber just figured out how to use her oil gland and won't stop

I had to run on here and figure out WHAT was wrong with her!

THANK YOU!!!!  is there anything I should be looking for as far as "crap, it's a roo" with EE's? or are they like my BR and yep.. she is a she? lol

i sex by feather pattern. those are female color patterns only. males start to show patchy red in the shoulder back area and wont have an overall pattern. Females have an overall feather pattern.

My two "fun" goofballs will be 11 weeks on Wednesday! Dixie (the single crown) is such a sweetie.. and will do just about anything for a treat! Amber (the grey bearded one) is quite the gal! She is afraid of heights (cries and wants me to put her on the roost every night, even though there is a ladder!) and refuses to get her feet wet when she is hot! Such hoots!! Anyhow, here are their updated pics I know ya'll said they were pullets but that fear is here until they either lay or crow.. hahaa

Amber-

Dixie-

(she is a total mess after eating her FF!)
