Edit: 5 1/2 week old pics(pg 2)Ameraucana? gender?

You've got very neat-looking birds! As they're some sort of cross, I'm not an expert on gender ID. However, I can now spot Black Copper Marans within about two weeks of hatching, which is an amazing feat, as they're notoriously difficult. I would say that I suspect you are right with Dixie and Amber. I know demeanor can't be shared over the internet, but I also find, at a young age, my male birds are far more amenable to being handled and the females freak-out and want to be released immediately. Last, pau close attention to the cobs. A comb that takes forever to grow and turn red is a great signal that the bird is likely a pullet. Roos are a bit like people... we men seem to need to strut our stuff earlier and in a more flashy manner. Girls in the chicken world are more likely to develop those traits more slowly and my guess is that they will get their groove on no matter what.
Thank you! They have changed so much! It's so much fun watching them develop and change! Thank you for sharing what to look for.. it seems everyday there is something new with these 5.. lol As far as their demeanor goes.. they are all really pretty calm right now. The Barred tries to fly every chance it's gets and my GLW is the one that begs to be picked up and held. These two are the shy ones out of 5 I have.. however, Dixie is the one that freaks out when he/she is alone (without the other chicks) even with me and the kids! This just started this week but he/she flies and cries until I put another bird out for 'petting' time. Guess it's time to tell hubby he better have a male name on stand-by.. lol

Ok.. I have learned a lot in the past week and I def am agreeing with you on the E.Es!
Here are Dixie and Amber. They turned 4 weeks today! I know it's too early to tell.. but thought I would post their weekly pics

updating pics of my EE.. starting to think that Dixie is the female and Amber is a male. I dunno.. maybe both are males. Born 6/6/13

From their feathering, they look like pullets. One, Dixie, I think, seems to have a single comb. A lot of members on this site say that means she will lay a brown egg, not blue. Let us know.

Can you get better pictures of them? Try to get good pics of their wings, color is a great way to determining EE sex, and their combs.

I had an EE with a single comb lay a pink egg.But never ever had a single comb one lay a blue or a green egg.

Thanks so much ya'll! The different tail shapes are comb types are throwing me completely off!

Yes, Dixie has a single comb.. I will def let ya know.. fingers are crossed Dixie (well, and Amber too) is a pullet.. if Dixie is, he/she sure is a bossy (or maybe just jealous!) one but it also likes the most attention out of the 5 so I am not sure that is why he/she is always pushing the others off our laps or not.. lol
I will def try to take better pics of their combs and feathers! maybe not until next week so we can tell a lil better? They are itching like crazy so maybe getting more feathers in? I dunno! They have the same colors but different patterns, different heads, different combs, ect.. even different personalities! obviously two different sets of parents! It's almost like I can't compare them to each other as they are so different! Def not good for a newbie trying to figure out this sexing thing.. lol

If they are itching a lot they could just be itchy chickens, but they could have lice. So I would inspect them really good. Look up picks online so you know what you are looking for.
