EDIT: LOST!! And FOUND! My ducklings HERE! Holderreads! Pics pg 2

I can't remember if they put tracking on my box, i'll check when I get home. But they did insure it, so if worse comes to worse....

Mine came on the 6 A.M. truck....and my post office has three shipments every day. They are all done by 8. Yours will probably come tomorrow. They should be fine with four days, but you never know....sorry to hear about your situation.

Do you live in a small town? I ask because my small town only gets one shipment sent to them a day. If mail isn't in the main post office at the major city near that gets all of our mail first by 5:30 am then it has to sit there and wait until the next day. When my chick s were delived to me the post office in the major city called me and told me they had missed the truck but I could come and get them so they didn't have to wait over night. I don't know if this would apply to you but it is worth a shot to try if it does.

Hope they get to you soon.

I'd called both. The distribution center told me they'd had 2 boxes of peeping things, but theyd been sent out and they had no idea what town they were going to. I called my local PO again, and they told me they only got one shipment a day (yes, small town) but that they sometimes had couriers who would deliver special packages like poultry. The local PO had known about the two boxes that went thru Galesburg, but the truck driver told them they hadn't been mine.... I no sooner hung up, and started making shortcakes for strawberries, when the phone rang. My ducks had been delivered by special courrier!!!

All arrived healthy, and here they are!

My hubby wants Silver Appleyards. Your packing peanuts look like they may be White Pekins.

Yup - I think those are Stanbridge Whites too (Holderreads doesn't breed Pekins) - although, they do occasionally send White Appleyards as extras and in assortments too, so that's a possibility, especially since they sent them along with your Silver Appleyards. You may want to e-mail them and verify what they are - that's what I did this year when I got 5 Stanbridge Whites in my order!

Mine are nearly 2 months old now - they grow so fast!
