Have you checked in the "buy sell trade" section? I thought there was someone in GA with some but I don't know where you are in relation to them. If you have no luck here try checking on craigslist I just got my barred rocks & Austrolorps through craigslist.

I don't mind saying I was waiting to see how you'd gotten your buff orps from mypetchicken or where ever and how you liked the hatchery you used. I've an odd feeling if I want them I'm gonna have to hatch them myself or something. We had a flock of 16 full grown hens here on craigslist by me go inside of 24 hrs. This breed seems to get snapped up.

Have you tried calling feed stores in your area or any local farms? How about checking freecycle in your area or check all the local newspapers ads? Just a thought , hope it helps. Trudy [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
  4. I had no trouble getting my Buff Orp from our local feed store...if you have one close by, check there! I also see chickens on Craigslist on a regular basis. Good luck! We love our Buff Orp girl. She's a sweetie.
  5. There are tons of hatching eggs on eBay....LOTS of buff orps....where are you located? I have three buff orp 6 week olds for sale...

I checked my local feed stores, and none of them sell until easter time. There aren't any ads for Buffs in the newspaper either.

So what are some recommended buyers on Ebay, and Craigslist....

UPDATE: Checked ebay, and they only have eggs for sale, I was thinking about getting day-olds - *still looking*

UPDATE2: Wow, Craigslist is amazing! - Found like 20 ads in my area for chickens for sale! - Great! - Thanks!

And I wll give freecycle a try too - never thought about that.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions!,
