The eggs are light olive eggs and hard to see. But I can faintly make out veining and movement and empty space. They are right on target, but two of them barely have any space left, looks just like the Day 16-17 pics in progression of candling sticky. I thought maybe they were rotten but I'm pretty sure there is movement and vessels. Why would this be? I'd hate for them to be rotten, but i'm pretty sure they are not. I noticed around Day 7 that they seem to be growing faster than the others, and candled again last night and sure enough could barely see anything. Very strange....maybe mutant Godzilla chicks?

That is strange, my first thought is that they are rotten but if you see movement then obviously not. Did you smell the 2 eggs? They would smell if they are rotten. If they smell take them out, otherwise I would put them on the side, just a bit away from the others and maybe label them just so you remember which ones they are. Candle and smell those 2 every night until lock down and keep us posted on what happens. Could you maybe post pictures of what they look like compared to the others?

I hatched my first dozen eggs a few years ago (and my last until we move and I can keep them instead of giving them to my uncle :( ) and I had this same thing happen. My first chick pipped early the 17th morning and hatched by that afternoon, and the last hatched on the 22nd. When I candled them before that, a few of them were much bigger/more developed than the others. Never was sure why.

Thanks guys. No smell no weeping from the eggs. I can't get a good pic. But I've been noticing what looks like 2 bulleyes on my eggs. Then it dawned on me today...could they be twins? These weren't double yolkers. Can a yolk be fertilized twice? Here's a pic of the yolk. I've seen several like this. The pic isn't very good at all, its way more pronounced in person. But after 30 or so shots this is the best I can do.

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought the bullseye was supposed to be around the white spot?

The white spot in the picture is a reflection of the sun...if you look closely there are two dark rings with a spot in the middle. All of butters' eggs look like that now that my roo is mature and they are all developing, so although not whitish like in my pics, it is still a distince spot with a ring around it.

This is the pic darkened and arrows pointing at the bullseyes. Is that not fertilized??
