you can usually keep roos together as long as they are raised together and arent too aggressive, sebrights can be aggressive...try D'Uccles, D'Anvers, cochins, EEs/pureblood ameraucanas or araucanas

Thanks for all the input! I think I'm going with silkies, cochins, a few japanese, and d'Uccles/d'Anvers. My mom will be thrilled.
