It says it is $20, but has a banner saying it's 20% off.
There are also several mug options, including travel mugs. It also looks like you can choose what the background color is.

Thank you!

I know what's going on my Christmas list this year! (I want a whole set!!!) Though I may grab one now since the last day of the sale appears to be today...
That's awesome! Wow, that's impressive! They are indeed drought tolerent, I have 5 which I haven't watered them since April and those vines are crazy big! Here we're in a pretty bad drought this year worst since 88 most people are saying and my lufahs have out grown my male kiwi (kiwis can grow about 6 inches a day)

This was a 70' kiwi trellis but now most of its covered in lufah.

Yep - they don't seem to be dense enough to really "choke out" anything (like kudzu does), but they will climb anything. We are in a drought, and I never ever watered it last year or when it came back this year. It was a sort of "let's see what you can do" thing. They climb and climb and climb...

Quote: Same thing. And yes, the sponges ARE made out of this vegetable - when they get large and mature they are all fibrous, and you let them dry on the vine. I'll try to get some photos for you - I have a few of the dried up ones I need to peel and clean. It appeals to me to grow my own kitchen dish scrubbies...

I wouldn't say invasive, just very very very big. They have not been stunted or anything by the drought that is now making the big oaks and pines wilt so if you're looking for something that doesn't need a lot of water it fits the bill. They're supposed to die back when it freezes but to date we haven't had any cold weather so it keeps going. If you do plant it make sure it has ALOT of room to grow as it will take over a garden in a short time.
Yup - In my experience, yes and no - they climb all over, and when I grew it in the garden on a proper 8 foot high trellis, it outgrew it and actually started "reaching" for the other trellises in the adjacent beds. I would walk back to the garden and it was a little like Little Shop of Horrors. So, yes, very hard to control unless you're ok with all that sprawl and climbing. But they have not done damage to the trees I have allowed them to climb when I let it go wild, as they are not densely foliated. I'll try to get more photos.
Wow!!!! I take a sabbatical and we lose our home?!? Lol! Congratulations!!!! I hope everyone is well~ I've missed you all! Just a little update....

After two dismal attempts at hatching Marans, I think I found the secret, resulting in 7/10 beautiful babies! They were shipped from CT, to CA. The breeder told me to run the Brinsea (generously loaned to me by Jessimom ) at 40%, 100 degrees... she recommended only upping it to 45% at MOST for "lockdown". She actually told me to leave it at 40, only upping it if they were having trouble... I was reluctant, but figured I had nothing to lose- I did go up to 45 though (couldn't stand it) and... Voilá! They hatched beautifully!!! Perfect, fluffy and dry! I just wanted to mention this for anyone having trouble with these dark shelled beauties.

Back to be being addicted, have an empty bator... Caught this sharp shinned hawk or cooper's hawk this morning. It managed to fly through the open door into my run and couldn't figure out how to get out. We drove him a few miles and released him from the top of a big hill near a lake. Hopefully, he doesn't come back! (Though he was really cool)
Good for you! May I ask how you caught it without getting injured? I was thinking I'd somehow get shredded if I tried...

OK, enough procrastinating - I have gardening, planting, and digging to do.

Is this a good price or too mutch per chick

There's no t in much.

If you want Houdans and have the money, then I think it is good. At least you don't have to ship them.
Houdans are susceptible to hawk predation.

I admire your interest in all the different breeds and chickens in general. This isn't an admonishment because most backyard people do it, but, if you want to raise and breed good quality chickens, you need the space and time to do justice to each breed you choose.
One needs a minimum flock of about 40 birds of each breed to be able to hatch enough and cull enough to improve that breed.
Just a bit of advice for you.

I have no clue how long it was stuck in there but it looked exhausted. I got it trapped in a corner and I threw a towel over it. It didn't move and I was able to grab it by the legs and wrapped the towel around it. I was less afraid of it than I would be an angry roo lol
