Remove the heat lamp they do not need it

They will only need it now if your NIGHTS GET BELOW 40* for Longer than a couple hours

The chick that I have that isn't acting right has no weight to it and I think it's the only hen what can I do to put some weight on her

Nothing other than a good quality fresh high protein feed, clean water, probiotics and excellent ventilation.

Newsprint is a no no for raising baby chicks because of the poor footing.

1st time I checked, it was 2* off. An hour later it was dead on. I had it in the shed I'm working on; definitely in the shade.

That's close enough for army work.
I'd be happy with a hygrometer that close for incubation.
