EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

This is why my entire flock is fed grower feed year round (along with free range/forage spring-fall). I keep a dispenser of oyster shell for the ladies for when they decide need it. Works great

I usually keep one by the feeder but sometimes another by the nest boxes.

Got a pic of your dispenser?
I use pint size cage cups. You just have to put them somewhere it doesn't rain in them. They're only $1.25 each.

I need a thermostat, a fan, something for humidity and a rack for the bottom. I don't have any pics

I'll get some later. I know guys who fix computers I might ask them if they have a fan I could buy.
Computer fans are dirt cheap online if you have a 12 volt power supply. 120 volt fans aren't as common.

More of an optimistical hope that there will not be riots today.

Or tomorrow.

I hate that we don't have early voting here in MO.
I went to my polling place right at 6AM. BIG mistake. I should have gone at 4 since I was awake already.
The line (in the rain) zigzagged through city hall, went out the door across and down the parking lot and out onto the road. Probably about 800 people.
What is insane about this and has me steaming is that in affluent west county there are no lines. You can walk right in, up to the machine and do your thing.
It would be different if this was the first time. It has been like this for the last 3 presidential elections. I waited 5 hours for one and 3 for another.
My wife has to leave for work at 7:30 so no way can she vote before work. She'll have to get in line by 7 and then possibly stand there till 8 or 9 tonight.
The majority of my neighbors are black. I'm convinced this problem is to limit the number of AAs that can vote. They still have to go to work. Republican dominated areas, no lines, Democrat dominated areas, hours in line. FIX IT ALREADY!!!

Doubt that- I can get dirt for free outside!

OK, really cheap then.

Yes- Staying home tomorrow as much as I can. I'm afraid of there being riots or possibly worse.

I am so proud of Sophie for doing well in school, engaging in conversation and learning about her hobby and taking the time, care and preparations to raise a happy and HEALTHY flock! Great job Sophie!!! your parents should be very proud of you!!!
