Well, I am disappointed to say that I was not able to wear my new shoes to work today, still dealing with some bruising and swelling from my fall on Monday. Now I will have to wait until NEXT Friday. Oh wait, Monday I am chaperoning a school field trip for my daughter, maybe I can wear them by then???

So no new shoes today.

Tomorrow we are going out to a friend of mine's farm for their annual syrup making day. They raise and breed draft horses, they are so beautiful. We are not part of their family but they consider us family so we always get to go. My daughter loves watching the whole process of the horses squeezing the cane, and the heating of the syrup. They also throw apples into the boiling syrup as it is cooking, and everyone says they are so good, my daughter loves those too. I wouldn't know because I don't eat apples.

I can't remember the point of my story now. Oh well, fresh cane syrup tomorrow!!!
