COME BACK Y'ALL!

We miss you!!
Thanks Banty. I have been around but not here too much. Sally knows of what's gone on the past few months and can enlighten everybody if she would like. Well, I suppose I can too.

About the time I kinda went off grid this summer, my wife and I were in a pretty horrific accident caused by a drunk driver. The investigators have deemed it a picture perfect double fatality and said we both defied all odds walking away. My wife and I had fished a tournament about 4 hours away and were on our way home when he ran a stop sign taking us out. Totaled one of my 2015 Cummins and our 2011 24' Blue Boat. But we are alive. I had another surgery on the 20th of Oct and am doing well. My wife has quite a bit of nerve damage and such. It will be a long heal. But the farm is doing great and operating as normal. All of my kids have moved home and chose to go to college locally so they can help out more. We are blessed to still be here.

Wow, how scary! :hugs to you and your wife.

Yes, we were very lucky and very thankful. We almost always have a couple of our dogs with us when we fish, even during tournaments. This particular time, we chose to not take any and are very thankful we didn't because they probably wouldn't have made it.

We have fired the cabinets back up for the first time since June. A full cabinet of chicks due to hatch on 11/28 and a full cabinet of Khakis on 12/5.

How is it going?
I have four eggs, we lost electric for about four five hours yesterday, but I put hot water bottles in and it only dropped to 94 so fingers crossed on those!

Hi Sally! I have about 6 Serama eggs left, 1 maran, and 4-5 OE. Hopefully those last 4 hatch for you!!

I can just imagine what those ears would look like after a round or two of eating multi-flora rose bushes, with all the thorns.
