For those who own turkeys, what websites have the best ordered turkey's in the spring?

X2! They have a ton of beautiful birds but I'd order early. He teens to sell or from what I've heard.

You could also ask over on the century of turkey talk thread to see if anyone is near you that will be breeding in the spring.

Your ordering turkeys??

Where from?

porter's poultry has a huge list of turkeys - I was going to do their pre-sale assorted mix, get a few random birds to see what I like!!! Eat the ones I don't. LOL at 4.99 a bird, and 1 per bird for shipping, isn't bad!

Oh he does have beautiful birds. That is a very good idea!

You should..... ^.^

I just went out and coaxed all my turkey's over to me for meal worms.

I even got my male easter-egger Roo's to let me hold them for meal worms. LOL

I have 1 hen named Astrid in my EE flock that actually likes to cuddle.

I have two broad breasted white turkeys growing out. They are about the only poultry here that might want to cuddle
My roo wasn't super thrilled by me picking him up, but when I went to pick up a different roo, he got mad and put himself between me and the other Roo and made me pick him up again. Then he pecked my dog in the face, in agitation when she came over to sniff him. LOL

He and I have been having this dance for a while, where he always THOUGHT about letting me hold him... today was the first time he LET me do it. I suppose I should reward him with some meal worms later.
